Got it home a little bit ago. This thing is pretty quiet at idle. Looks like I get 2 days of 70 degree weather, then snow again on Wednesday next week. Needs a little bit of break-in mileage, then dyno for stock numbers. I saw Dillon's posted 165 hp at the wheel on the demo they have.

Pretty cool having people show up just to meet me there. I didn't really post a lot of info about when I'd be there or anything, had a couple of guys that knew who I was and came up just to say hey.
Got the bike from Reno's Powersports in KC. Overall, very good bunch of guys to work with.

And yes, modifications will commence soon enough.

Dude, I knew you were gonna do that! I will be in KC the last week of march and you beat me to the punch. Did they pre order for you? None on the floor?

I've got almost all my vehicles in black, last couple prior to that were red. Figured it was time for something different since the wife said "hey, I like the yellow one" and followed that up with "why don't you go get that one?".

I didn't pre-order it, but I did pursue it pretty hard. Local dealer to me wasn't moving very fast (not fast enough for me anyway) and this one popped up. Got a text message from one of the guys at Reno's so I called back and said I'd take it. There was a guy there looking at it at the time and I said consider it sold. He (salesguy) told the looker guy (Sean) that someone from STL was buying it and Sean said "Dean? From STL?" which totally freaked the sales guy out. Pretty funny stuff there. I put a deposit on it then and there just to make sure I got it. Had to drive 450 miles to get it, but it's home with me now.

Oh hell yeah! way to go Dean.. I absolutely LOVE the yellow! (THE original "Barracuda" color) take pride in that work of art, man.. you've earned it!

Best, Thump
