Guys thank you for all the info and advice. The link to the bike for sale i posted is just one that I can actually go look at. I have zero intentions to pay the advertised price, but would make an offer if it appears to be a decent bike, and hopefully already has the mechanical upgrades you speak of. Hopefully there is a legit story behind the bike, but you never know when going to look at a used bike at a dealer. Based on my search so far, I'll probably be forced to buy one outside my state, which is fine - I've purchased several bikes from other states before (MN, NY, MI & KY).

I feel more educated on the subject matter now since my initial post; I know more of what to look for, how to verify and certain questions to ask, etc. For that, I thank you! I will continue reading, researching and looking at Buell bikes. Like i said initially, the X1 Lightening seems to be more my style. Lasting, I found that spelling the model name correctly widens my search capability! LOL Will keep you all posted on my search. Hopefully I come across a great deal sooner than later. Thanks again.......
