would a bike like this be good to start out with?

Feel free too put your two cents in! Thanks

I am almost positive he is selling it today to another forum member. I was interested if this deal fell through and he told me that the guy is picking it up today.

Also, welcome to the forum! You have good taste [up]

Go to google.com > search buellxb.com xtremelow.

Warning: you will have to do a little reading, but that is how you learn right?

Xtremelow has by far the sickest customs on this forum I think for the xb's. Do your own thing though. Good luck! Personally I think it's more fun to buy a stock bike and make it your own then to buy a full custom already. After all I want it to be my custom not someone else.

MacTools,

Take a look at the Ulysses also... I too was new to Buell ownership about a 2 months ago. They are great motorcycles. I am more of an adventure type but having all that Torque is true blessing. It is absolutely funny with all the GXR's R1's, CBr's and other Asian bikes keeping up with me in the Twisties...

What ever Buell you buy, you can not go wrong... Remember this... Safety first then Ride...

im currently in the military and just starting to get the funds i need to build a bike.. i really like low's bike because of the military theme.. i like how the back end looks chopped and everything is so clean looking and not having monstrous turn signals and mirrors.. i was thinking maybe doing a xb9 then paint the frame like the American flag or doing some patriotic airbrush design of some sort and i have no idea what i would do for the fairings.

thewanmanrules,

How tall is the ulysses? im 5'8" and about 170 pounds.. im not very tall so i need to watch how tall of a bike i get.. a lowering kit might do the trick but i have no idea..

5'8" you might want to look for a scg

are SCG'S basically a buell lightning or firebolt? the lightnings look almost identical..

The tubers look sweet.. i really don't know what i want now lol.. both bikes look wicked.. do you change the whole front end like the shocks and the fairings or can you get buy with swaping just the fairings?

i guess you can say welcome to the madness its really hard to decide what to start with lol.. i want them all
:D
