So even though I have rode bikes for many years & have owned 1 of my very own......they were typical crotch rockets. I realize a Buell is not typical. LOL! But as I have recently been riding Harleys and have been surrounded by Harley folks, I've grown to love the idea of merging both types of bikes (so to speak).
Curious though if there is decent access to parts & upgrades as my internet research really hasn't brought too much. Just bought an 03 Buell Firebolt XB9R. Thanks in advance :eagerness:

virtually every single perishable and mechanical part for the entire XB line of buells will be available forever. when the supply of originals is exhausted the aftermarket will kick in and fill the void. they always do. a few cosmetic items will eventually disappear from the supply pipeline but don't see that happening for the next decade or so IMO. various service manuals available on this site for free down-loading and the available Buell expertise on this board is unrivaled. that along with the fact that they are very simple bikes to maintain and service makes your purchase a good decision.

Yup, LOTS of good info here free, just for the asking. Those 2 guys^^^^ are the best resource (and much nicer than I am:black_eyed:). Haha

Parts are easy and still available new from lots of sources! Surdyke and Newcastle Harley even stock stuff, eBay for aftermarket stuff, but I always check here and Badweb first because the community support is worth it:up:

Welcome, BabyGirl! Like mrlogix said...pics, pics, pics! :D And, I just bought some new headers and a new airbox cover from Newcastle for my '09 XB12Ss. Some parts are being discontinued by Harley...but lots of sources, so I'm not really worried.
