Anyone run nitrogen in their bikes reg? Im doing it now.
this [up] I have run it and noticed absolutely no difference. If you have a good source of compressed air (dry) then it doesn't make much difference. The biggest swings are from water vapor that can come from places that don't drain their compressor. Air is already 78% nitrogen. The 21% of oxygen does permeate the rubber at a slightly faster rate than the nitrogen. Both air and nitrogen act as an ideal gas at these pressures and temperatures so the temperature pressure effect is the same for both. Its not worth going out of your way or paying extra imo, but its not completely useless. It certainly won't hurt.
