I haven't posted in quite sometime so I've decided to post up some new pics. I recently finally added rear turn signals to the bike after not having any for 3 years. I wanted something that isn't noticeable but is effective. Since that is what I wanted I figured the best thing to do would be to make my own. Here is what I came up with and they work great even in the day.

Forgot to mention that since my last post 6+ months ago I added an XB12 exhaust manifold and a new chin fairing. My old chin fairing was black and grey but just painted. The stock manifold broke in 2 places and it wasn't dropped either. It broke at the collector and cracked 3/4 the way around the flange that goes into the head. I'm hoping at some point this winter of adding a XB12 intake manifold/tb and getting it onto a dyno and tuning it. Should make for quite the fun bike if I get it accomplished and find a shop that will allow me to tune it myself on their dyno.

It does need a good detailed wash. It was just spray detailed there. The wheels and tires need some work done to them badly but I'm still riding it this year. The seat rails were powdercoated when I bought the bike 6 years ago and then I painted the tail after I chopped it. I also painted the frame and swingarm myself a few years back since it was all silver. The bike is an 03.

They can't be missed at night and during the day they are still easily visible. I was kinda worried they wouldn't be seen during the day. I went out riding with a couple guys in cars a few weeks back and they said they didn't have any issue seeing them in the daylight.

When I chopped the tail I lost the turn signals. I always planned on getting some small led signals and mounting them to the tail. It was about a month ago I wired up some led's in my roommates clear XBOX and thought I may be able to come up with something like that for the bike. So I ended up going to the shack and bought the lights, resistors, and holders. Stopped and got a 12 pack on the way home and drilled away to only hope it would work and it did!
