What would you guys say are the best open end grips?
I'd like to find something close to OEM size but with the soft feel of the spider grips I'm replacing.
Be cool too if you guys know of a package deal that comes with grip glue.

I've been searching Amazon and fleabay and everything looks good.

Appreciate the feedback.

Wow, I guess I found one topic no one really cares about!

From the research I've done I think I'm gonna go with progrip 714 grips.

Unless someone convinces me that another grip is better.

No I wouldn't say that, but everyone has their own preference on grips me I try all types and have not found one to be better than another. Sorry , don't think that helped at all. I will say gel grips get to sticky after a little while and dirty.

I've noticed that's a common complaint about the gel grips.
Thanks for the reply.

I think the progrips are dual density.
I'll have to research a little more

Carlos, I actually use Scott diamond grips. They aren't open end if your concern is for bar end mirrors, nothing an xacto knife or a razor blade can't fix. Have em
on my street bikes and my track bike..... no glue, grip stick is cheap enough though.

these carlos. but then again i'm a geezer with "suspect" blood circulation. maxresdefault.jpg

Lunatic- I have grip heaters installed on my bike, so a heated set of grips is not on the menu. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Fatty- I have actually looked at both of those. The Oury grips seem to be pretty popular in adventure touring world.
I've looked at the renthal grips before but am not sure if the outer layer, in the dual compound, is the sticky/tacky gel compound that some riders don't really like.

Thanks for the feedback. Gives me plenty of options to research that have some genuine Buell backing.

The grey layer on the Renthals is not sticky at all. At first I was disappointed that it's not very soft, but I've grown to like them a lot. The bigger diameter allows me to relax my grip more, and that relaxation keeps the buzz away more than any gel ever could. The pattern offers your gloves a lot of traction, but the rubber isn't sticky or tacky at all.

I have factory heated grips and do not know about any others on my Uly. I do know they cost almost $90 each since I just had my left grip replaced by insurance due to a wreck. Do not know what aftermarket heated grips would cost? Sorry for the total lack of knowledge, thought maybe the factory cost would help you?

Appreciate the feedback.
I'm not interested in heated grips. I already have functioning grip heaters. I'm very satisfied with the performance of my grip heaters and the fact that I can easily change out my grips.
The renthals sound similar to what I'm looking for. Something that quells the vibes, has a good feel and isn't crazy on price.
Once again, thanks for the feedback fellas
