So I've been looking at possibly buying a 2004 Nissan Frontier crew cab 6' bed v6 with 47000 on the odo. Only downside to the truck is its 2wd. Anyone have any comments or opinions on the truck? Should I have any reservations?
Thanks in advance.
Dusty

Nissan Frontier's are great trucks, I had an old Hard Body 2.4 a while ago and it was awesome. Super strong and reliable. Mine was 2X also, no regrets since I live in Socal, no need for 4X4

I know if you jump it more than 4' off the ground you'll never get the front alignment within factory specs again

that just made my day lol. if u wanna jump it.. get a ford raptor lol

on another note a guy at my work just bough a nissan truck. he loves it so far.

Not necessarily I had a raptor and things start to go wrong with them also.

True story. But it's not what you think. There was a nice set of whoop-de-do's that I took at about 35 mph, I was getting about 4' of air in between (had pics at one point but I don't know what happened to them). It tweeked the suspension enough that the shop couldn't shim the upper control arms enough to get the the camber within spec. I sold the truck a few months later.

I had a 2001 crew cab frontier in 2wd and loved it...hated that I had to sell it. Have a 2010 frontier crew cab now (in 4wd) and couldn't be happier. Check out ClubFrontier, it's frontier forum almost as good as buellxb.com!

Only bad thing about em is there's never anything wrong with em.. (I'm a mechanic). They are awesome trucks.. If you live in a snowy area, get some Blizzaks and a couple sand bags and you'll be just fine...

Thanks guys. Ill hopefully be picking it up tomorrow then.

And.yeah that made my ****** day sooooooo much better hearing about you jumping 4' lol
