o2 sensore not hooked <check engine light on,,

I bought an 09 buell 1125cr a while ago.It has a barker exhaust and I was told that the check engin light will stay on till i do something with the 02 sensor ...I can hook it to the barker exhause so what do I do to get the light off besides disable the light..Thanks in advance

Need to know what the codes are for sure, hold both buttons down and turn on the key to get into the diagnostic mode. Cycle through and write down the code numbers. Post them here and I'll look them up for you.

Easy fix is to get an EBR ecm that is matched to the pipe though.

You cant hook the O2 sensor to the barker? As in the header has no bung for it?

correct,the person befor me has the sensor tucked under the air box cover.

have an exhaust shop install an 02 bung.
