I know many of you may not have voted for him, but with Barak Obama as our new President does it make any of you feel better about our future and the direction our country is turning?

This is a quote I took down a long time back, I feel like a douche for not getting the guys name.

And so....It really comes down to a very basic choice that we have to make as a civilization: Either: We will learn to bury the animosities of the Ethnocentric, Militant traditions, and come to understand that Earths survival depends on our collective unified participation....Or: We will sustain this cycle of violence and revenge until humanity is returned to the status of primitivity, and the Earth reduced to the rubble of antiquity. Its really up to us, its really is, up to us.

I might not agree with all his ideals or policies but at this time I think he is the best thing for this country and our standing in the world. I hope for all our sakes he does a good job, and im glad to see this country take a step forward in becoming what it claims to be.

I belive he has no choice but to keep his promises.
I didnt vote for him

But i think that he will be looked at under more of a microscope than any other president. I dont feel that is fair how ever George Bush wasnt the best Pres. but he wasnt the worst. I feel that america has a lot of growing up to due the major one is to be accountable for there own actions and not be self absorbed. that bieng said i have to say I have found out so much more about the world on a motorcycle i.e about people I find that buell owners tend to be down to earth and realistic hence my buell good riding to all

I agreewith you and you cant be for abortion and christian at the same time I vote off of my faith and convictions. I think that people that are of faith voted because he is black. I would have voted for colin powell provided he would have ran. bottom line I hope for the best but will be going to church more. I think that we should not bring politics on to the forum. with this being said when we are in our helmets and on our bike we have the same politics and that is ride the road.

Well, whether for him or against him, we're stuck with him so I hope that he does well. Besides, just think who takes over if something happens to Obama.......Biden!?! Now that's freakin' scary. [smirk]

I think he'll be OK. He's not near as "liberal" as some make him out to be. I don't like his pick for Treasury sect, nor do I want to see any more money go to the banks. He's got to find a way to get people back to work NOW, and make business pay for the privilege of doing business in America instead of making citizens (and I mean citizens) pay for the right to live in America.
