My first Buell, just bought it used, wasn't sure if it was just V-twin vibration or poor idle. First tank of fuel and put 93 octane in tank. After about 5 miles, noticed marked improvement in idle/performance, any opinions?

Always put the highest pump octane in it, you can find. Or 91+ non-ethanol is great too.

that's my opinion.

Preferably white gas. White gas runs cleaner and you get the most out of it. Much better for your engine. I always use BP when available. avoid sketchy and no name pump stations because most likely all youll be buying there is watered down fuel.

We have a large bp refinery close by that sent out a batch of fuel that was no good a few months ago. It caused damage to quite a few vehicle's. I wish 100% pure fuel was available locally because I ran it in the mountains and the bike ran noticeably better.

The website you posted was a somewhat bum advertisement link.

All the ones that popped up anywhere near me were marinas or unbranded fuel south in the state.

both mine LOVE the 100% stuff. research your area and find who has it. totally worth it! we store ours over the winter with the 100% stuff and stabil treatment. never even a fart after 4-6 months storage.

We have an RS fuel and they mostly sell 91 and up. They all have the blended fuels. But their 100% is awesome. Always fill up there.

And don't put your gas cap on backwards its been known to cause rapid tire deflation, and stator issues! God knows we don't need that. :D
