Has anyone heard from Odie at Spec Ops lately? I ordered a heat shield for my XB9SL on 07/22 and he promptly responded with his paypal info. I sent him the money and it was taken from my acct a few days later but haven't heard a word from him. I emailed him on 08/01, 08/05, and called the number on his website today but no response.

I'd really rather not contest my paypal order to get my money back but its getting close to the 30 day time frame. I know he's a one man operation but a response would be nice.

You will get your item. Odie does not, unfortunately, have a great handle on customer service. His Buell business is far from his primary concern, so you're likely to wait and wait and wait for either a response or your item.

Proceed as you see fit, just know that if you're willing to wait, you will get your heat shield eventually (and I do stress the eventually part).

I think everyone who orders from Odie ends up asking whats taking so long. He'll get it to you, just may take a little while.

They keep him pretty busy with work, but he will get it to you as soon as he can. I heard nothing from him after I sent the cash for mine, then it just appeared in the mail about a week or two later.

I guess I'll stick it out for now, hopefully I'll get a response before the weather starts getting colder and I no longer need it. Love my seat warmer in the cold weather. 110 degree weather, not so much
