Off the wall paint/finish question

Anyone got a paint code for the finish/paint of the Firebolt dash? I'm talking about the "control panel framework that the speedometer/tach cluster is mounted on. It's some kind of metallic super light gray/silver.

Thanks for any help (got a spot that's worn to the steel finish and would like to protect it).

If you can't get a paint code I know some automotive paint supply houses have like a "reader" gun, I've actually seen my local automotive paint supply house use it. They aim it at the color in question and it tells them how much of each color to mix to get the color in question. Or, u could just dismantle everything and re spray it a close enough color, clear it, color sand and be done w it.

I'm pretty sure that color is the actual color of the magnesium (I think it's mag). I painted mine satin black...

Hmmm....some threads call magnesium closer to a very light gold....I *think* the color is a silver derivative. I just don't want to order touch up paint without knowing the right code...
