Seen some of those Harleys at the MotoGP races and they are fast but far slower than the other bikes. Thus the reason they are in a whole different class, plus they crash like it is cool, LOL

Definitely. To me personally it looks funner. Kinda like riding a slow bike as fast as it'll go as opposed to the opposite.

I watched them at the GP in Indy this year.
The bikes themselves were pathetic compared to the GP bikes that raced before them. The Harleys were DRASTICALLY slower, like watching dump trucks race right after F1 cars. They twitched and squirmed in the corners like the frames were trying to tie themselves into pretzels. That being said, they were BY FAR the better race to watch. Those guys were running 3 wide going into the corners and were fighting tooth and nail for every inch of position. It was a GREAT race to watch! [cool] The machines were unimpressive but the racing was as good as it gets.

I would LOVE to see a full V&H prepped XR1200 run against a stock XB with comperable rubber (race tires on both). My money says the XB mops the floor with the Hog. [smirk]

they werent owned by a harley they were owned by the spike.that was all rider.

If you guys say you would never have one for yourself look in the mirror you will see a lier those bikes are sick.......Ican remember jay springstine on a xr1000 in bott at road america putting his feet down on every turn sliding like a flatracker then wheele up turn 5 and he won 1984

I understand this bike isn't everyones' cup of tea. Certainly is mine. I'm sure a buell would run circles 'round it. I'm actually contemplating getting one of these over a Buell or another streetfighter project.

put him on any bike at the track that day and you would have the same result only faster lap times

If you guys say you would never have one for yourself look in the mirror you will see a lier those bikes are sick

if it was given to me for free yea but once it ran out of gas i would sell it or give it away since its not worth a tank of gas or space in my garage.
