I watched them at the GP in Indy this year.
The bikes themselves were pathetic compared to the GP bikes that raced before them. The Harleys were DRASTICALLY slower, like watching dump trucks race right after F1 cars. They twitched and squirmed in the corners like the frames were trying to tie themselves into pretzels. That being said, they were BY FAR the better race to watch. Those guys were running 3 wide going into the corners and were fighting tooth and nail for every inch of position. It was a GREAT race to watch! [cool] The machines were unimpressive but the racing was as good as it gets.
I would LOVE to see a full V&H prepped XR1200 run against a stock XB with comperable rubber (race tires on both). My money says the XB mops the floor with the Hog. [smirk]
