I have a couple questions folks. First, what's the best location to put an Ohlins steering damper on an 08 Firebolt? I've seen a couple different places. Also, are there pros and cons to each location or does it basically do the same thing regardless of the location?

Thanks!

5-0, I got this second hand so it was way less than new. I would have bought a GPR, but bike funds are on the lower end.

isn't your ohlins the strut style damper? don't know what hardware if any came with your used set-up but everyone i've ever seen mounts one end to the front engine damper assembly and the other end to fork slider assembly. the idea is that one strut end be rigidly fixed and the other end free to telescope within the damper body itself. the damper body is the part that should be rigidly mounted.
