Ive got a trail of oil om my swingarm. It seems to either be comeing from my drain plug or the rear shock. ive been rideing it every day and its cold here, 35 degrees. My question is has anybody had problems with there drain plug seal going out, or the rear shock leaking oil? Im not even sure if the shock has oil in it.

when mine was leaking oil at the 90* elbow of my oil lind connecting above my oil filter it would drip on my exhaust and then coat my swing arm. after i fixed it it stopped but when i changed my tires i cleaned it all up and there was about a 1/4 " layer of dirt and oil all over the bottom of my swing arm. so dont rule it just as a drain plug or shock remember all your oil lines run under your motor ontop of the exhaust and could be coating the swingarm too

The shock is oil filled but if it was leaking u would feel a big difference in ride quality. Degrease everything and wipe it clean then take a ride n check. Could be trans vent my starter gasket leaked and put oil on my swing arm. My breather reroute dripped oil when I ride on the swing arm. That's y I say clean it and do a flashlight check.
