oil pump drive gear

What year xb12s had the the weak oil pump drive gear. Can't seem to find the info on the forum. I have a 2004 xb12r. If mine is affected, I want to get it done before I have problems.

up 2006 get the new drive gear.
U got the "weak" one.

left the new one, right the "weak" old one

for my opinion... it makes no difference
but dont forget to check it.

Thank you Keppi. Have you done the job before? Is it hard to replace?

to check it ...easy, just remove the Oilpump
but check it 360 degrees...out a gear in and spinn
the rear wheel.

to change, little bit hard to write down...because I´m german.
please use the workshopmanual maybe someone else will write it down
i have discription here in just german...[sad]
