Dont laugh people! but in my desperation for some front rims for my XB i ended up buying some XB12sCg front rim (and here it comes!) that is powdercoated pink.
my first question, will the 2009 Xb12Scg rim fit my 2003 Xb9s rim right?
second: the purpose of buying the front rim was to get it powdercoated black, so how hard is it going to be to strip the pink powdercoat off and repowdercaot it black? Please help!

It is the same rim and will fit no problem. Just take it to someone in your area who powder-coats and have them do it. It's a bitch to get it off, they blast it off just to let you know. I just had my rims done and I paid $40 a wheel for everything.

Shlorty, if i have only known you were looking for pink rims i would bid and won both the front and the back rims, the rear ones were already taken by the time I bid on the front ones. if it is helps any i can try to find out where the rims were powdercoated and get you some info.

I'm in Wasington state. I am on the hunt for a good powdercoat shop as we speak. I was even thinking pink or Kawisaki green, thought we could both save a little time and money. Sorry.
