Would I notice if my bike was running on one cylinder and one of my plugs was fouled out? I was riding next to a buddy yesterday and he said it sounded like my bike was missing since I blew past him and hit red line which bogged the engine down. I am pretty sure that is what he heard but he thinks its only running on one cylinder. How can I tell? I am not very mechanically oriented.

running on one cylinder it wont go over 70 mph. i have tried. i was actually suprised it went that fast. running on one cylinder it will barely idle or run. you should notice a difference even if you aren't very mechanically oriented.

When you hit the rev limiter it is definitely going to sound like you are running on one cylinder.
I think your right, buddy's probably just mad.
Kind of on a side note though... It seems like with my bike if I do bounce it off the rev limiter it seems to run like crap for a couple minutes after. Anyone else notice this? Or is it just in my head?
