I just purchased a 2009 xb12r only mod is a hawk muffler as stated in prior posts, just got my new k&n filter and plugs, so...installing new parts this weekend, do I do a tps reset when the bike is cold or after I take the bike for a "ride in learn mode" when bike is warm?

cold. room temp if you will. instructions in your owners manual. 2009 is the "twist of the grip" type reset. get your gear on...do the reset as instructed...shut off....red run switch to off....get ready to ride....igniton switch to on...red run switch to on...let idle 30 seconds....then ride in learn mode approx. 25 miles. job done.
