I'm guessing the XB12R with ostrich seat and what looks like a hypercharger intake mounted on top of his air box cover

Ppl come up with some just outlandish ideas. Some work and some make fruit smoothies with their intakes.

That was a mass produced intake piece, it's just for show. There was even an airbox specifically designed for it. It's one of a kind just like all of our bikes are once we put anything aftermarket on it. IMO it's barely more than stock.

What are the thoughts of our most innovative forum members on this intake?

Well, I'd hardly class myself as "most innovative", but it's been my experience that these kinds of chrome bolt-on accessories rarely do anything to improve power, particularly if they haven't been considered as part of the overall air/fuel/exhaust systems.

What!!!!!!! So me buying all the chrome at autozone didn't give me any horsepower at all. I have always snickered at the fake air vents on cars and any other overly chrome accessories.
