Quick catch up on what I have had to do on my M2 since buying it a couple months ago.

straight pipe changed to V&H.

The painful part.
I got the bike all back together from changing the stator (which was pretty simple) and went to do the lowering bracket. I loosened the remote reservoir clamp and tilted the reservoir forward. Oh joy, milky/watery oil ran out of it from the front end. In checking it, I figured out the rebound adjuster screw was stripped out too. So much fun... I found a good used and recall upgraded internal res shock on ebay and have it on the way. The only new problem is it's one of the short ones (~15") and the stock one was the longer ~17" one. Now my lowering bracket is pretty much worthless. I get to cut it off and make something different now. Sometimes it sucks being short... Oh yeah, almost forgot. I think the front shocks are blown out too. When I corner, it likes to lift on me and then settle back down multiple times throughout the corner.
Is it just me or do you guys have this kind of fiasco too????
Is the internal res shock worth a crap or am I probably going to have problems with it? [sad]
