onece again megalog has me stumped

my computer crashed recently [mad][mad] i had every thing working great but since i've reloaded ecmspy from this site and newest version of mlv i cant get them to communicate it is almost like ecmspy is not logging correctly.i even removed and reloaded to make sure i downloaded right. i start logging and it shows at bottom of screen that it is logging the green check mark is lit on the disk icon and i check run time to make sure it getting signal but i can not find files anyware even with explorer. i also notice now in mlv i have to open a weird file i believe a mls then it has msq button on right but nothing else i hope once i get MAPS loded the rest will pop up on the right side of mlv HELP HELP HELP [confused][confused]

do you have (use megalog format) checked in the options drop down menu (not sure it makes a difference). Are you getting real time info from the bike. Make sure you have the correct firmware version and you have the correct usb drivers installed. It will show you logging even if the bike is not hooked up to the computer so the green check mark really means nothing if your not getting info.

every thing is working showing all instruments are working on spy and values are changing in run time

Try pm'ing Gbalis or Xopti on Buelletinboard. Im stumped. It has to be a communication issue between megalog and spy. Did you set up megalog for the Buell in the options menu. I cant remember if this makes a difference in recording the log or not,

Im just brain storming here.

Its got to be something unchecked. Is the box (always start with empty logfile)checked?

When you check the start log and its a green check what is the file path at the bottom of the box say.

are you shortcuting to the file folder or are you following the path... My computer > C.drive > ECMSPY > Megalog?

i had to go into my computer open ecmspy folder then hit compatability file and found them then had to move them to a new location thank god for mike and buelltin board. now my problem is my logs read 100% filtered and no changes take place in analyzer [confused]

Yea, mike is the **** when it comes to that, I would have never figured that out. What are your filter settings on in megalog analyzer. Make sure custom filter is off and the minimum temp is set at 160. remember if the bike is not warmed up it will not run the ve analyzer.

that could be it my files were only 5-10 min. loggs just to try to find my file problem. this hole thing frustrates me because i had none of these issues the first time i installed this stuff got to love computers. i appreciate your help also.
