only Paypal?

Is there another option other than using paypal that you have/had/still use today? I've been screwed since '09 while doing contract work overseas...yea, I know I've bought a few things recently from a couple folks on the forum, but had to use a paypal hack and debit card to do so since my account has been restricted thanks to members of my family, with that being said, now I can't buy/sell/transfer funds [mad]
anyway, looking for another way to go about this cause I'm on a mission to convert my S to R and have a few things to part with and get me closer to my goal since there were no takers on trading parts here, thanks for any help

I just sold something to someone and the transaction was made with, get this, a personal check. He mailed it last week and I deposited it friday. Check has cleared this week and I'll be mailing the part tomorrow. Can't believe he trusted me not knowing who I was...

we have a joint bank account which links our paypal accounts, so hers is also restricted...the story goes that my son had sold a pair of bicycle wheels to someone on ebay, payment was made, but the shipping of the wheels was delayed, so the person who bought the wheels filed a claim about it, so it all went down hill from there from what I was told, ebay nor paypal will discuss the matter with me cause the issue lies with my wife's account and she's boycotting both [mad] but that screws me in the end

? sounds like you guys just need to resolve your issues with the "buyer" of the wheels that consequently were or were not shipped.
Why not open your own pay pal account? I've sold over a 1000 items on ebay, and bought about the same.. cant say i have ever had issues that were not resolvable.

there's a company out of des moines that does something similar to paypal without charging a % just a flat rate for transfer, I can't remember the name but I know there was an article about them in a bunch of finance and entrepreneur magazines.

after trying a couple times to get through to an actual person on the other end of the line....success at last paypal rep help find out the issue and cleared 'em up and restored my account, he couldn't believe how long it had been since the last time I'd use the account...almost 3 1/2 years since last transaction...
