hey my buell xb9r from 03 is only running on the front cylinder, or so i think so.
the front cylinder is getting hot, and the front pipe is hot
i can feel the rear pip getting warm from the front one, but where the pip is mountet to the rear cylinder its all cold, an the same is the rear cylinder

i testet the spark plug, it works fine.

the two cable thats run from the small box and out to the spark plugs works fine.
but only the one that is connectet to the front end off the box is giving a spark
i tried switching the cables around to make sure it was not the cable,
with the cable from the rear plugged in to the front off the box it still gives spark.
but i cant get any off my spark plugs to give spark when its mountet with cable in the rear off the box

so my qustion is,... is the box 100 procent defect? and i should buy a new? or can it be something els.

hope you understand my bad english and the way i tried to tell what i did

im from Denmark in europe. where can i buy a new one

okay. so should be the problem??

so if i order a new one. it should take care of the problem?

Replace both plugs and get the new coil. Im sure someone here has one or two laying around for cheap or shipping.:)

i change the coil, spark plugs, check the wire´s from the coil to the sparks.. and it stills only runs on one cylinder, the front one. the rear dont get hot, and the exhust only gets warm becuse the other one is heating it up..

what is the got danm problem..... got danm

Sorry to hear... I know the feeling... Only other thing that comes to mind is fuel that injector could be plugged.... Be patient lots of people on here, we will get you going.
1. Fuel (is it getting it in that cyl.
2. Spark (we assume you do but have you check since you changed coil)
3. Does it have compression

really really hope that you guys can help med

how can i check if its get into the cyl?

yep i have check the spark plugs... when i think about is.. it does look the same as when i but it in. same color, not wet. brown or anything???

i can get it to start efter some tryes and keep it going with the trottle. on.. but the rear dont get hot and it will turn off if i dont use the trottle

hope hope hope that you can help me out there

Ok 3 options
1. take off air box and look at the throttle body it has 2 injectors you can pull them and make sure both are spraying.

2. Pour fuel into cylinder through spark plug hole and fire it up it may not get hot but it should indicate if the cylinder will work you may be able to start it with no throttle.

3. spray starting fluid into throttle body and try to keep it running without throttle.(this is the last option not the best you can damage a motor I you over do it)

do you have a pic. of it. maybe with arrows on so can see where the injectors is..?
and have do i pull them so i can se if they both are spraying

i just looked at it. but I could not figure it out what to look for and what to pull. and where to look

??

and i just want to say thanks for helping me.. the sun is beginning to really shine in Denmark... so hope to get it running as fast as possible

No problem....heres a pic of fuel injectors and fuel rail....i would to be safe pull your spark plugs and remove injector and rail look to see if they are both spraying... they may spray without turnover but I beleive they only work when crank sensor is signaling... so you would have to start the bike...

ok now i think we are on to something.... :D

i looked down in it when i pushed start, and it looked like only the front one was firing..

i took it a part an tried it again. so i could se them spray, and only the front one is spaying..

so... that could might well be the problem.. but how do i clean it?? or do i buy a new one.. i looked at another link in here. and some on youtube. just want to know your felling about this and what to do

Outstanding! First thing I would do is check the voltage to that injector make sure it's getting power so we know that's what it is without a doubt. Then you can clean it and try again, if you can get it to work go ahead the fuel drys out and they clog just soak in injector cleaner. Worth a try. Good luck!!

I just testet it after i had it soak for two Days, still dint Work, then i switch The wire from the front to The rear injector, and Them it Worlds, so now se know its not getting power... What to do

I'm looking at service manual the rear injector is wired to the ECM with green/gray wire. I would check connection trace wire maybe it's pinched or cut. If the front has power the rear should also that system works together using the same sensors. Check pins in the plugs. It may be an O2 sensor but not certain. I will do some more checking.

i know the injector pins is fine, because it works with the front wire

i tried to follow the wires. its goes down and in to like this plastic piece where it goes to the front and to the rear. but i looked but can´t really find out where to look, and where the wires from the injectors ends so i can check them

do you know?

i found some pic. of the ECM but can´t really find it any where

im sure learning some new stuff here:)
