Opinion of these bar end mirrors

I have pretty much the same ones, work well. Just have to wrap electrical tape around the insert a few times to grip the bars and I'd recommend some loctite on the bolt that goes into the bars as well to keep it from vibratin out. All in all I like them alot, function well and look good

Went ahead and ordered them.
I was gonna say patitence is a vurtue because you only waited an hour and a half before ordering. Some of us have to nap sometime. LOL

Seriously those should work fine. The shipper is in Hong Kong so you'll have plenty of time to ponder your purchase. Post up pics in a few weeks once you get them. [up]

Hahaha yeah prolly should have thought it through a bit longer but they were only 12 bucks compared to the super expensive CRG ones. I'll post some pics when I get them on.

I hear you banger. The first set I bought was called cateyes and they were actually for a bicycle and made of plastic. But you know what? They didn't fold in at highway speeds so I rocked them for a while. Then I bought the $30.00 pr from cycle gear until my dumbass dropped (literally) my bike and broke one. Then I ordered the little 2" CRG's ($50.00 a pc ) :(

I had the cat eyes as well for a little bit waiting on a good deal for some better mirrors. Worked well just looked a lil goofy

That post is an ebay ad from Hong Kong [down] $10.00 more and you can buy in the USA from Cycle gear and lots others.

Is there anything you can do with the mounts once you remove the stock mirrors so it doesn't look like an empty hole?

I bought a pkg of vaccuum caps($2-$3) from the local parts store. I used two of the black caps and stuffed them in the holes. If you look you can see them in my pic posted above ^^
