opinions wanted

looking for opinions on this...

if i stay with the XB-R upper/bars, i was thinking about using a sportster visor/lid.... To me it gives a move finished look and fills in the weird shaped area between the bars. Also think it gives a little ducati or walan look. Could leave black (upper/bars will also be black) or could paint body color.

what are you thoughts? does it look out of place? funny? or good? I can also mill an opening in the top to house my motogadget miniscope speed so it flush mounted in this housing.

right now its just sitting on the ign ring mount which i would shave and then make an aluminum mount that would bolt to the factory ign switch location

It looks like the moto would fit perfectly in the recess of the lid. Either way you choose I love the look.

It never gets old looking at how gorgeous that thing is. I really dig the piece, I mean it would be really nice it had a little bit of a curve to it on the edges, but other that that it looks great.

Personally I love the sporster lid thing. Actually, when I rode a sportster that was my favorite part about the bike
