Orlando Ride

People were talking about having a get together/ride near Orlando so I thought I'd start a thread for it...

My bike will be out of commission after thanksgiving probably for a few months, hopefully we can do something before then, if not I'll likely miss out until next time...

I'll be game this weekend . "Buell Occupies Orlando night".. maybe on a sunday or something, downtown. Dosen't sound like a bad idea but to get things rolling I would think it would be better to meet up sunday day @ a sports bar or something during the day . See what kind of turn out we have and go from there . Let see what we can put together , everyone interested leave your feedback .

I might be able to meet up this sunday. I live on goldenrod about 2 miles from OIA. There's an ale house near my house, many other options as well...

Is the idea to meet up and BS or meet up and go for a ride?

Either way I wouldn't have time this weekend for an all day thing, but maybe a few hours.

Ok how about daytime, right here in Altamonte just a few miles from the center of Orlando and right off I4 is a nice Starbucks. There is a parking lot and for the bikes, we can smoke right there.. cute chicks there and there is a bunch if places to eat if we get hungry. We smoke, ******** about our bikes, drink coffee and if we want to we can go for a ride.

I figure, if its coffee then it will be cheap for everyone.. end of the month is coming up so we gotta be considerate.
About a mile from that starbucks is an awsome all you can eat chinese place, best Ive found. Lunch runs 5.95

I'm pretty sure I know where that is. It's about 30 minutes from me so that's fine with me if I'm able to meet up this weekend. I don't smoke(but won't tell you to quite) and don't drink coffee(but can always enjoy a soda and their delicious snacks), I think it's a good start to a plan

Appreciate you looking out and keeping it affordable I too noticed the end of the month is near[mad][up]

I'm cool with meeting there too . I think we should ride though too [cool]. I'm very familiar with these area so I went on google maps and came up with what I think would be a nice ride . Google says it would take an hour I'm sure we would shave some time off of that , so not too long of a ride . Mt. plymouth rd. seems like a nice road to ride . Never rode it on my bike but every time I've drove down it I wished I was on my bike . Yeah Im up for a ride BUT NO RACING! The Cops up here are all having money problems, they just ticketed me 116 bucks for having my visor open in a 35 zone! "Improper eye protection".. as soon as they see a group of bikes, those bastards move in for the kill.. so we gotta take it easy and not egg each other on!

I could do 1:00 would perfer a little earlier (Football Fanatic Here) . My preference would be 11:00 not too earlier and I wouldn't miss as much football . [up] It's whatever though I just wanna ride . Lets see who is in and get everyones preference and go from there .

Sounds good will do the same . The weather is pretty crappy today and looking the same for tomorrow but sunday is suppose to be nice and cooler . High of 75 nice riding weather .Also bump for other orlando buellers .

I'm not going to be able to go tomorrow something came up and I didn't get anything done today so have to do it all tomorrow. I want to go next time for sure though, if you guys make a plan for next time please let me know

Yeah Im going to a Halloween bash tonight.. Ill be hung over for sure.. you guys wanna do it next Sunday instead? It would be good to have us all there at once for the first Rally. Maybe even a weekday instead?

I'll stay tuned to the thread, would love to meet up. I should be able to next sunday, and if we plan it ahead of time I can plan on it for sure, probably can not meet during the week though.
