Was wondering how/if Plasti Dip would work? If it doesn't look good, just peel it off. Comes in a lot of different colors too!

i painted my inner airbox with silver spray paint, took about 10min. i think it looks way better & brighter.

How is a silver paint still see through??? Seems like you wouldn't be able to see through, so did you just haze it on?

I think he painted his airbox lid, not the airbox cover/tank.

what cb750 is thinking of doing is painting the inside of his translucid orange airbox cover silver. it would make it brighter and still orange, but not see through anymore. yea, i just painted my inner airbox silver.

I sprayed my kick-ash flyscreen black on the inside. Now it's a really deep black color looking at it from the front. I didn't even have to scuff up the inside. I just sprayed it on and it ended up all thick and crappy and a little bubbly at the bottom, but from the front it looks great. I can always remove it with paint thinner to get the translucent back if I want to. Next weekend I'll spray the inside of the air box cover.

Not yet. It's been raining a lot lately and I've been too busy when it's nice outside.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell the Buell. I really need a sport-tourer so my wife can ride with me. Hopefully I can get a fair price considering it's a 2010. I'll leave the air box cover unpainted while it's up for sale. Other than the painted flyscreen, it's completely stock.

Yeah I don't really care about it being transparent. Maybe I'll cover the inside in saran wrap before painting, that way I can undo it no problem.

There is a Chrome Bumper touch up paint that can purchased at most auto part stores. I have seen many that clamed they where chrome but ended up being silver once dried.

this is the stuff I used on an old 87 chevy pick up inside the dash panel to help make the lights brighter.
