Gravity race 1&2. A dead engine race down the mountain. Sounds dumb but it is fun as hell.

Hilarious when you hit your horn and the dead engine race probably confused the hell out of passing cars ... "dang those were some quiet bikes" haha

It looks so short, you can do it several times. That must be nice. I'm jealous.

We have a pretty epic road over here near monterey, highway 25. But all the way out and all the way back is 80 miles. You can double up on the good part, but after that you have to go get gas. Plus from my house, to the end and back it is a 200 mile trip.

Dave the video is only about 1/3 the length of the tight side of Palomar. Its just my favorite part, but there is also the fast side of the mountain and there is also Montezuma in that area. I have videos of them but don't publicly post them because you get well into triple digit speeds and you never know who is watching.

great vids. nitto. doesn't the manual say not to coast the bike for long distances as it may damage the transmission? certian parts of the tranny need the motor running to be lubed if the belt is spinning the front pully, even in neutral. just my 2 cents

Yea that seemed to be a concern on buellatinboard.com also, but the opinions varied. Some suggested running the motor and putting it in neutral. We only did four runs, and if there is a next time I will take this into consideration.
