Can I have a lil help. Was working on my Firebolt in my step dad garage and see what seems to be a thick bearing race. Can't find it in the repair manual not sure it's even from my machine. Does anyone know

We're you working on the stator?

I had to replace shift fork shaft so entire engine and trans was down.

It looks like the spacer that goes on the crank between the case bearings and the stator cover (magnet bell housing gear side for the primary chain) you will have to remove the primary chain and look. You can tap it in without cracking the cases.

I'll dig a spacer out tomorrow to try to refresh my memory.

All parts accounted for, that was it. Once again thank u sir. Have to button up a few things put muffler back on and bring her to life.

Didn't workout I didn't do head gasket right front leaking and the little wheel for te shift drum didn't go on bc the shifter don't snap back. Put it in storage for the winter. [sad]
