I could not find through a search and interchangeability list for the different years of ulysses and other xb's. The ulysses of course being the changes between 07 and 08. Is there a list out there for people who wanna buy parts bikes or other parts to interchange between the xb's?

Well, I'm buying a Ulysses real soon. Of course, I want a 2010 but will probably settle for an 06-07 due to cost for now. Eventually I'll find a 2010 and buy it. I see them as a eventual collectors item. I get attached to my bikes and don't plan on getting rid of it. I thought I may keep the older one as a parts bike since parts in the future will be rare. Either way I want to stockpile parts ;).

having been around bikes since the first kawasaki triple in 1969 and being a franchised dealer i can tell you that it's your business what you do with your spare money but stock piling XB parts is an utter waste of time and money. parts such as perishables, electrics, seals, bearings, cables, bodywork and many other XB Uly parts will be available new for decades to come. and when the supply dries up the aftermarket and repro industry will fill the demand if there is one. i wish you a long, healthy and prosperous life but you'll never live long enough to see the Uly parts supply pipeline dry up. ask any Vincent owner and they'll tell you the same thing.

That maybe so, but I have known some people into the vintage bikes that had a real hard time finding parts and have to go to swap meets in search of them.
Thanks for the advice though. I do you still think that a parts interchangeability list would be beneficial for everyone on this forum.

It is always helpfull to someone. Just figure that Engine parts, SAY you buy an 07 Ulysses-Tranny parts and Lights depending on models and so on will fit. Engine parts are closly related. IT's the Electrical areas like ECM/Electrical Harness Temperature sender and other Electrical parts Etc..that is critical and make sure to install right away.
The Buells will Have some parts around for 20/years to come. The Inner Transmission Parts are closely related,w/ the sporster so you can always mix if needed. It really Depends on what you need.
If you buy a 2006 OR 2007 Ulysses then maybe buy some of the Harder Parts like Harness,Cluster,Swing Arm Materials etc. Wear Items are what keeps you Riding! If you buy an Electrical item put it on right away and save the used part you now know it works. Look Around Before you buy, then find places with Wrecked Bikes like yours that run etc.. that you want, for Once you purchase the Bike you then have an Idea what you are getting your money into. Always check out Availibility of Outer Parts such as plastics and the cosmetics' areas as well.*Jimi

.if you're asking what on any given year uly interchanges with other XB12's it would be wheels,

wheels on the uly are actually thicker than other XBs... I have a uly rim on the back of my firebolt, and it was a full pound heavier IIRC
