Parts Situation

Anyone know anything about how the situation is for parts in Europe or USA? My 2007 XB12 Scg is at the workshop at the moment waiting for some gears shifter shaft parts..

the shifter shaft itself? I bought one from the dealer for my 09 XB12R, it took 3 days to come in

Yeah, you can still get every stock part, just not accessories. I had to wait 2 months for a part, but most of the ones i've ordered came in a few weeks

I am actually not quite sure which part that they have ordered at the workshop. I have been having trouble with changing gears, like the shifter is not going back to zero after changing gears so that I have to give it a small upward movement before changing gears down ..
I was only asking to see if anyone had any idea about how long it is normal to be waiting for parts these days.

I have not had to wait longer than a week for a part

Is your linkage adjusted wrong? my wifes SV650 does the same thing after I changed her linkage cuz she dumped it. She would get to a stop light and put it in neutral but couldnt get back to 1st. She would have to roll the bike back a little and then put it in first. I adjusted the linkage incorrectly. Just an idea.
