Pass. Bracket Lengths...... Clarification

I was asked a while back about the pass bracket lengths from year to year and said they were the same. I was mistaken. In fact when the swing arms were changed to the newer style the pass brackets where actually lengthened my 1"

If you hold the one on top of the other they look identical but if you hold opposite sides straight side to straight side you can see a difference then.

Just wanted to mention that since I said they were the same in the past, and cant find the thread where I said that.

It's funny you say this, Just met this guy the other day with the same bike as mine only I bought pass pegs from a later year ss and he had the original ones to the 03s. I thought I noticed his to be higher than mine but figured it was from my blinkers being moved foward and his wasn't. Almost think I was the one to ask the ? a while back, now that I think about it!
