Hay Gents,
Well I finally have my wife completely willing to let me buy a bike when I get home, but I told her there was room on the back for her. My original plan was to buy a Ss but after looking at these bikes i think i like Scg better. I didn't realize there was much of a difference but I see it now, the seat looks allot better on the Scg. So how is the comfort with a passenger on for me and her, and does the Ss and the Scg make much difference for passenger. I will most likely be by myself most of the time.

Well like you know now I have the Scg I bought it because I ride alone. I have a friend that can fit on the back but she is very thin, when my actual girl friend saw it she said there is no place for me on that thing (which isn't a problem because she doesn't like motorcycle). For the comfort well if you reade a bit on the bike the S/Scg seat is not considered comfy for the passenger where the Ss is better. I have to agree with you that the S/Scg is way better looking since thats what I bought. I could have got a Ss earlier but personally there is a big diff in the look and I didn't really like the tail section on the Ss so I waited until now to get my 09

The extra 2 inches on the SS is well worth it....my wife loves the room. We found on the s/scg had enough room but not enough for comfort. U could sit on it but couldn't shift around when ur ass got tired. The Ss solves that.

Is there better seats available for added comfort to passenger, for the Scg?
And are they any harder to drive with a passenger on?

i have noticed on my xb12r that when my girl rides with me i wear the front tire BAD. like if we go for 4-5 hours in the hill country, i might as well get a new tire because the sides of my front tire are gone. i should really learn how to adjust my suspension for riding a passenger when we do that. since writing this i have realized that it has nothing to do with the subject at hand. THREAD JACK.
