Dammit man, as much as I'd like to I can't make it this weekend. Are you a regular at pbir? 8/1 will be my first time there. I've rode jenningsgp a few times but haven't got down there yet and pbir is actually a little closer (still 2.5 hours though but opposed to 3.25 to jennings).

I have a few minor things to do before then. I have front brakes on the way and I need a new rear. My rear is ate up on the left from Jennings, I've heard pbir favors rights and from looking at the track that's obviously true but I don't know that I have enough on the left to attempt any track time on it. Can't wait though.

It was super fun! I'll post some pics as soon as I download them.
The track is all long sweeping turns and a back straight about 1/4 mile long, so it's great for beginners! I took my CR and about 5 mins after unloading it, a guy came over and introduced himself. He brought his CR, His friend brought a CR, and his other friend brought a RX! We pitted together, and looked good (so much better than the hashed Gixxers). I'm buying his Keda this weekend

There was a LOT more people than I expected. 25-30 advanced, I counted 50(!) Intermediate, and 35-ish Novice. Still the track and the pits had enough room and were well organized. Bring an EZ-up because there is NO shade (theres no indoor pits like Homestead) and it will be hot even in the evening. The food truck thing should be interesting. I will be there in my Red lobster for sure!

You definately need a new rear tire.

They actually do sell it there:eagerness:. The one this Saturday is a late one (2pm-11pm) and there's a bunch of food trucks there as well. I bet there's some around…
