Hello again, this thread is about the breather reroute mod that I did. When I was replacing the hoses on each valve, I noticed that they moved fairly easily... should they be more sturdy and secure? Is that something that would cause a problem? Just trying to trouble shoot my on-going problem.

Every Buell I have worked on has had a fair amount of play where the pcv valve mounts in the rocker box. If there is excessive play or a buildup of oil around the pcv you may need to replace the grommet.

ok, thanks a lot spymac, my movement is not excessive. just a fair amount as you stated before. I guess that theory is out the window lol [sad]

When I did my reroute I accidentally pulled the valve out a little. Just push on it with a very light force to make sure that it is in all the way. Mine was what I considered loose and when I pushed on the valve it made a faint pop. Now it barely moves.
