Ummm I don't think you can get a full version of photoshop for free... you might possibly get a trial version but the full version of photoshop cs4 is $699.99 upgrade 199.99 or 99.99 for the elements version... Pockets are you running a mac or PoS wait i mean PC:p

also quickest way would prolly be through a torrent download I may know someone ;) who picked up a copy through mini nova.org before they changed their sight using a program called transmission
 
Yes, full version, trial period. Then you get a serial generator and a crack and you have PS for free.
 
you can use isohunt.com to search for the torrent, not sure which OS you are using but transmission is great for MAC and bitcomet or utorrent are good ones for PC.

Hmm that is true... I've done that before and didnt even cross my mind this time guess I wasn't expecting adobe to do full trials... my bad
 
Then getting it to work on a mac isn't easy. You have to actually edit the program files and put a bad link in them. The link it what it uses to look up the serial, but if the link is bad, normally it just locks you out. So you have to put a work around patch in it. My friend talked me through it, but I couldn't do it again to save my life.
 
I'm on a PC but only running 2GB ram (old ass Dell). Hopefully it will work. Utorrent huh? I'll check it out.
 
Nookie, try Gimp... it's not adobe, but it's very comparable. It should already be on your ubuntu comp.

Onelogue, you can try using a crack... it works for some people. It just didn't work for me.
 
2 gigs of ram wont be too bad but I suggest elements if that's the case...
I had a little bit of experience with photoshop prior to starting my current job. When they found out they locked me in a little room with no windows and a dell xps loaded with cs4 for 2 months. In the end I made several posters for the city and was begging for computer upgrades even with the newer xps
 
Good deal. I think I'm gonna try out the free version at home and see if it's worth going through the trouble of getting the full version.
