Seth, looks like a cool, unique exhaust. I'd keep it. Try some steel wool or some 1000 sand paper on it...

Yeah, steel wool and WD-40 will do wonders !!! Finish it up with high gloss metal polishing paste (i.e. from Home Depot) and you will have something close to chrome !
