I think I'm going to plastidip my white plastics, white on my bike, lol. I want the matte look

i did a base coat of black on everything bc of the way it sticks better. there is a video on youtube about white plastidip that explains why. but spraying white onto white you might not have anything to worry about.

Nice! I have a black xb12s with the amber wheels. I was wondering how it would look white. I like it!

That looks really sharp that's for sure! Good job. Wouldn't have known it was plasti dip if you didn't say anything

Nice! Did my entire Nitro R/T in black.. Did you clear it? I heard it'll last a hell of a lot
Longer if you do, plus you can still peel it.

DrogeN Omen,

What fairing do you have on there? Looks like a GSXR set up. How hard was it to mount up? Any chance you have a build thread on it?

Wow! I am thinking that fist picture, with the snow/frost in the background, would be a great December or January choice for the 2015 BuellXB.com calendar.

i do have a build thread somewhere.

was pretty easy though, ordered all off ebay:
- GSXR 600 K5 fairing mount $60
- Front fairing $170
- Headlight $120
- Indicators $15

2x cans plastidip

I know all about plastidip...my Jeep has been dipped for a year and a half now. I've dipped various other cars, all kinds of colors. Favorite color was the camo tan on my jeep by far. When I get home from this deployment, I'm spraying over the camo tan, with camo green

haha the first pic up there does look like snow lol. its just black and white with color splash! but would be cool to be in the calendar!

I didn't use any of the clear on the dip. I like the flat look

You guys big fans of plasti-dip? That stuff is so fragile, if you so much as look at it the wrong way, it scratches/blemishes.

It's worked great for me so far, I had my tank cover dipped all of last summer and it still looks great - so i made the plunge to dip a few more things. Time will tell on that. Make sure you prep the surface well and apply a bunch of coats though.
