Hi guys,

I set out to check my timing today & while removing the rear plug, I managed to snap the lead out of the crimp at the plug end.

My local HD dealer in Walthamstow (UK)are useless and do not stock these so my question is.....

Can I make up a new plug lead if I get the bits from say Halfords in the UK, or do I need to purchase the stock item which will mean waiting weeks for it? Oh, and they are £10 each from the ripoff HD wasters

Urgent advice would be appreciated.

Phil.

I know the Buell uses a carbon something or other plug wire to cut down on radio noise interference and its not the same as a regular plug wire. Im not sure how that effects performance but if you can find the Ohm rating for the wire and match it you should be ok or at least get you threw until you can replace the OEM wire.

Cheers Gator,

Yes, it does look like a carbon wire so may order one and wait while the sun shines:(
