my mate Jef (octopusenvy) imported one to NZ from USA last year, with the Full Police kit.

According to the dealers there do are some differences.... front disc slightly thicker, .. different bearings in the rear axle... different oilpump.. also a bit longer ( probably very little... a few inches maybe ) . .. is a heavy duty model.. so is supposed to be a bit better... say assembled more attentively... don' t know about the mapping... is heavier ( normal when fully equiped )... also heated handgrips.... if you find one... lights and siren can probably be used on private grounds... meetings etc... can cover them up rest of the time.... or replace one of the lights.... can be blue/blue or red/red... ( parts manuel ) .... maybe by white ones ( carparts store ).
Topcase ( also has lights ) can be removed easily.. without removing the X-MAS lights mounted on it...

Sorry guys.... me again... forgot to mention... this one is in Europe... pretty unique around here.... speedo is in kms as well... bought it brandnew in 2010... posted some comments on it earlier in different topics....

The Gastonia PD apparently sold the Uly some time ago. As near as I can figure, the city has one motor officer. Since the Uly, I saw him briefly on a H-D police bike, and most recently on a BMW R1200RT-P.
