What wax/polish are you using on your bike? I have some scratches and swarel marks and want to get my black plastics back in tip top shape.

Novus plastic polish, really only need the #2 for light scratches. You can get the #1&2 on eBay shipped for less than 20$.

+1 on novus and use a orbital buffing wheel it wont burn the plastic and works way better than by hand. my plastics came out awesome before i sold it and amazon has it for real cheap.

with a foam polishing pad, u can use medium cut polish to scuff it up, then use a final finish/glaze to smooth it out

with plastics its better to polish/buff in the air conditioning because humidity drys up the product real fast and doesnt last as long

I used mother plastic polish for head lights. Got the kit with the foam ball that you put on your drill for 20 bucks and auto store. Works great took mine from dull to shiny in a little over a hour. For any scratches I used 2000 grit, than car polish and finally to the mothers.

mother's and meguirs are ok but they're not as good as professional grade products. 3m rubbing compound, swirl remover, and final glaze work well.(of course u apply a good wax afterwards) or ive also been using a new buffing system that doesnt work quite aswell on fresh paint as 3m but seems to work better on cured paint and plastics... if u want i can get u the part #'s when im @ work 2 morrow.

BTW im a collision refinish tech (i know polish);)
