Hello everyone
I'm new on this Site and come with a question :)
I have a xb9s 03. Is it possible to polish the complete wheel like other have done there frame?
If so, what's the best way to do so?

Thanks
Philip

Anything is possible but you would need to sand smooth the rough parts if the wheel which would be a straight up bitch.

Never worth the work unless you had some power tools that could do the work in a jiffy.

And if you did get them polished I would highly recommend a clear powedercoat directly after to maintain the look. Otherwise they will get dirty very quickly.

I don't know about that, the outer rim would not be a problem with a DA sander, but the spokes would pretty much be impossible, I would recommend paint, or powder-coat! But would love to see what you come up with

Yeah i had an another look at it and ithink i will leave it the way it is.

But i would love a complete polished wheel.

Powdercoating has really come a long way in the colors and finishes available. You can get all or a portion of your rims powdered to look like polished nickel or aluminum. The best part is that you'd never have to polish- Just wash 'em like you normally do. It would cost you some coin, but could ultimately save a butt-ton of labor and upkeep.

Agreed powder coating the wheel would be the way to go.

It would cost a little more but the time you would save would easily justify spending a little extra cash.

why not send them away and get them chromed? if you really want the shiny look that is the way to go!

Yeah, like this.
