I have a 90 montero gen 1, my DD if anyone has interest let me know at [email protected] and ill shoot pics and info. still doing tasty repairs and mods, looking for a xb12s or ss maybe a xb9 if its reasonable. ill drive to you regardless of distance it'll do the work. im the 2nd owner other than a elderly gentleman. Arizona clean title no rust black tint and big wheels. no compensation 4wd is a beaut! not interested in firebolts or blast
 
near tolleson, from maricopa city born jersey raised desert. had an xb12ss from the early forum days, mechanic destroyed so now im begging for a buell again.[smirk]

have you checked out those bikes you listed yet?
 
in contact with both of them, email and texts are slow replies...ill hold out hope for the next couple of weeks. i have a few buell parts still lying around as well. burnt stator and shitty starter with busted bendix. there is a nice 12scg but dude wants nothing to do with trades even though its in his favor i'd say. i just miss my buell and i have too many helmets to not have a street bike.[mad][mad][mad]
 
understood and sucks having to wait on responses...you could get the stator rebuilt and the starter as well, spares parts, just saying:D hopefully you'll find one soon
