Hi guys & Ladies
I use my firebolt to travel to and from work every day, then do runs on weekends.I need some way of smoothing the motor down for easier slow week day riding. The power commander was mentioned by a friend but they don't make them for the firebolt. Any suggestions, please.

Welcome to the Forum. there are a couple of options for your Ride. Erik Buell Race ECM or Remus powerizer you can also go on the Forum here and learn from the Tuniversity how to Individually Tune the Engine to what changes you have made. That is also depending on what year Bike you have your Skills and so on, make and model and so on. The Remus :powerizer will work BUT it will have some small Glitches here and there. The ADD ons really don't work for long will work but in my Opinion is a waste of money..
Do some homework first and see if you would like to Retune the Stock ECM on your Bike, if that is the case then post up the Tuniversity here on the forum. If Individual tuning is not your Gig then try Erik Buell Racing .com and make sure to let them know Exactly what changes to the Exhaust AND the Air Filter(Mesh) OR Paper Filter you are using AND WILL be Using from then on. .
This way they can tune an ECM for the Way you have Changed it. NOW if you plan to change the Muffler or anything else around then make sure to do so before you install the New ECM, or you will have to send it back to be Retuned again for any Changes made. Take your time and if you have an older bike then for just a small investment you can be Learning how to use ECMSPY for your Engine. Make sure to check it out so you can keep riding.
The Low end Lugging you may be Experiencing with your Bikes Engine is somewhat the way OR the design of the V-Twin so again check out all options first then enjoy it. *Jimi

Thanks Jimi makes sense to me, haven't worked on these motors before always had Jap or British before. Love the firebolt on the open road though it sings. It's 2007 but only has 20,000Km on the clock.
