Primary case cover? Part cross ref?

I bought a primary case cover and need help for fit check. The part number is 25543-02.
I have a 2005 Xb12. Please help...

That part number doesn't give you mutch...it's the same part number for xb9(black) and xb12(Magnesium), depending of the bike's year.

For your 2005 xb12 that part number is OK but MOST IMPORTANT is checking the inside an outside diameter of the shifter shaft seal.
There are 2 sizes of seals (for 2 diferent diameter holes and 2 different shifter shaft diameters), and you may have a hard time to get the right seal (try hardware store)if they'r not compatible.
