So I need to adjust me and my brothers primary chains on our Filebolts.

My question is: How do i do it?

The manual says to first loosen the locknut, then turn the adjusting fastener clockwise to tighten the chain.

My problem is that i cant turn the adjusting fastener. I have no idea how to turn it with out turning the locking nut. Am I doing it wrong?

You need a hex key to adjust it. Not sure of the exact size but its standard and is pretty big.

Grab some allen wrenches and get r dun.

and make sure to hold the adjuster where you want it while tightening the lock nut down.

I never looked at the bottom so im guessing thats where the hex hole is.

Makes more sense.
Thank you Trill [up]
Ill have at it tomorrow.

I have the hex bit ("L" wrench) and a crescent wrench for the locking nut. I think im ready to go :)
