primary cover made of?

Hey guys, I am going to have a friend of mine coat my primary cover. Just wondering what it is made of. Its aluminum right?

Yes. The primary and cam covers are both aluminum for all XB models except possibly the genuine RR model. I'm not certain on the rotax built 1125's.

if it is stock it is plastic. at least mine is and other buells i've seen. show us a pic and we can give you a more definite answer on it. sorry thought you ment the spocket cover , my mind was wondering around a bit, for a minute.it's back now!! i think it is.
the primary clutch inspection cover is aluminum and powdercoated black. or do you mean the entire big primary ouside cover housing.
