I got my service manual from ASB in the mail today it’s full of good information and clear labeled pictures, I'm pretty excited about it. I like to have a service manual for all my machines gives me piece of mind when I do maintenance and provides good reading material before I go to bed for the night. I highly recommend a service manual if you plan on doing your own work.
I came across the VIN decoder the last digits of your VIN identifies the sequences on the production line. Let’s see every ones number!

My bike is the 526th XB12R to roll out of the factory in 2009

my sequence number is 125. its a 2010 Ss built in i think july 2009. that otta be the 125th Ss bike built in that year? or the 125th 2010M.Y. bike? or maybe the 125th 2010M.Y. destined for Cdn market? Im not too sure. curious though if anyone knows a more detailed breakdown of a VIN. Im also kinda curious exactly what number was the very last one.

Last 5 of my vin are 26228 and my bike is a 04 XB12R. So is my bike the 26228th bike built in 04?

Also appears that my bike was built for the Japan market according to the decoder I found on badweb.
